MISERY (Stephen King) - February 13/25

 It probably goes without saying that this book is too long. I wasn’t much interested in the book within the book, nor was I crazy about the second half’s emphasis on Paul’s inner thoughts. But when this book is cooking it’s cooking. There are some really tense stretches and both characters are very well developed. ***1/2 out of ****
