TRUE STORY - Michael Finkel (October 1/05)

Fascinating true story about a writer who found himself being impersonated by a guy who killed his wife and three kids. The progression - Finkel was fired, followed by a linear telling of Longo's timeline - is extremely well handled, and one can't help but hope that Finkel pens another novel soon. ***1/2 out of ****
