THE WAR OF THE ROSES (Warren Adler) - December 20/25
This decent but awfully repetitive book alternatingly entertained me and annoyed me. (Did both pets have to die?) **1/2 out of ****
Short reviews of all the books I read, rated out of four.

I’m not really in the state of mind for literature these days but this was short enough and the main character is interesting enough that I didn’t mind it. **1/2 out of ****
Another solid dad-fiction book. It’s maybe too long (Carr really loves describing Reece’s gear), but the revenge-centric narrative is impossible to resist. I did have a hard time keeping track of the many villains, though, and that one death (he cuts out a guys intestines and leaves him secured to a tree) is maybe more cruel than anything else. But still, a good read. ***1/2 out of ****
