I wasn’t too crazy about this one. The Bosch stuff was good but the Rachel stuff was a little tedious. I’m also getting a little tired of Bosch not being a cop, so it’s a good thing he got his shield back at the end. **1/2 out of ****

This one took a little while to get going but I eventually got really into it. The first-person shift was jarring at first but now I can’t imagine a Bosch book without it. Also I got choked up at the end when Harry meets Maddie. ***1/2 out of ****

Probably my least favorite Connelly so far. This took forever to get going and all the science stuff remained boring from start to finish, but the thriller aspects were pretty good and even exciting. I could totally picture this as a movie. **1/2 out of ****
